What the artist is trying to say:
Symbol of the Egyptian “Sun Deity”, Scarab Beetles ???? were held sacred by Ancient Egyptian Civilization. They represent Birth, Life, Death, and Rebirth. Various manufactured forms of scarabs were carried as amulets and venerated as a  good luck talisman for the survival of humanity and civilization.

Overpopulation is an existential threat to human survival on earth.  Climate  change, habitat loss, unmitigated overconsumption, and extinction are caused by too many people.

This scarab represents: HOPE FOR HUMANITY.
